The founder

Built by a practitioner

Jakir Malek spent more than 20 years architecting technology and infrastructure for global enterprises before he moved into Texas real estate. He runs the brokerage the way he ran those projects: decisions come from data, the process is written down, and someone is accountable for every step.

For a client, that means pricing built on live comparable sales, a documented path from the first call to closing, and the follow-through you would expect from an enterprise project.

EXL grew from a single brokerage into a group that covers brokerage, new home construction and investment partnerships. EXL Realty Group, the licensed brokerage, represents buyers, sellers and investors across Texas.

Pricing and offers start from live comparable sales. You see the same data we do before you decide.

A written process

Every client follows a documented path from the first call to closing, so nothing depends on memory.

Published fees

Buyer representation for 1% of the purchase price (minimum $3,000). Up to 2% closing credit on new construction. Flat-fee MLS listing from $399 with $0 commission to us at closing.

Closing credits are estimates, vary by transaction, and are subject to lender approval. Payment of a rebate is contingent upon the consent of the party represented by the licensee in the transaction.
